Privacy Policy

BulgariaReady ("we", "us") is an online guidance platform run from Ireland. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at hello@bulgariaready.com.

• Account details: your email address and login details if you create an account (including if you sign in with Google).
• Your plan answers: the answers you give during setup (for example budget range, preferred area type, whether you have pets), plus places you shortlist and phrases you save.
• Waitlist and enquiry forms: your name, email and anything you choose to tell us in a message.
• Payments (when payments open): handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and your email, but never your full card details.
• Usage data: basic, aggregated information about how pages are used, collected by our hosting platform, to help us improve the site.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive information such as health details, passport numbers or financial account numbers.

• To provide your account and personal plan — to perform our contract with you.
• To email you about the launch or your enquiry — with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To process purchases and keep financial records — to perform our contract and meet legal obligations.
• To keep the site secure and improve it — our legitimate interests.

We never sell your personal data. We do not pass your details to estate agents or partner businesses unless you ask us to.

We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf: Base44 (website hosting and database), Stripe (payments) and Google (if you choose Google sign-in). Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, they use legally approved safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Account data is kept while your account is open and deleted within 30 days of you asking us to close it. Waitlist and enquiry details are kept for up to 24 months or until you unsubscribe. Purchase records are kept for as long as tax law requires (currently six years in Ireland).

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or, if you live in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We use only what is needed to run the site — for example, keeping you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
